I am not going to do a simple one post review of Death Note. I love this anime and it is currently airing in English here in Canada.

Death Note is about a young guy who finds a shinigamis (Death God) notebook. Instructions are written inside the book that tells him that anyones name that is written in the notebook will result in the persons death. L:ight decided to see if it is true and writes down the name of a criminal and it results in the criminals death.

After finding that the Notebook is truly a Death Note he uses it to kill all the criminals so that he can rid the world of them. The shinigami that owns the notebook comes down to the mortal Earth to find it and is amused when he sees how many people Light has killed with the Death Note.

Death Note was originally a manga series which I believe has been completed. It was also adapted into two live-action films that were released in Japan. A novel has also been made out of this series. The anime series is complete in Japan but it is still airing here in Canada, and the US.

On my next update, I will be telling you about the characters of Death Note, at least the anime ones
