The main difference between yaoi and yuri is that one refers to boys while the other refers to girls. I have watched and enjoyed some yaoi anime such as Sukisyo. I haven’t really watched yuri but there was instances of it in the original non-english Sailor Moon between Michiru and Haruka.
On a side note I will soon be offering the Sukisyo episodes for download as I have them on my computer. Anyways, many people think of Yuri and Yaoi as hentai but in most cases it isn’t. The term yaoi is applied to anime where there are two males in a romantic or sexual relationship. Yuri is the same but for girls.
